Originally from Heidelberg and with a professional career as a graduate business informatics specialist and SAP manager, Andreas is not exactly the typical personality one would expect amidst the Namibian wilderness. Yet, his encounter with Namibia about 15 years ago changed everything.
His 30 years of global travel experience, combined with his long-standing passion for environmental and nature conservation, led him to charity projects for the Bushmen (San) in Namibia. By establishing music schools and gardens for children and schools, Andreas deeply immersed himself in the culture and beauty of southern Africa. He not only fell in love with Namibia but also with South Africa, Kenya, and Tanzania.
2021 marked a turning point: Andreas took over the Otjisazu Guest Farm. Now, as a host and expert on Namibian culture and attractions, he welcomes guests from all over the world with a dedicated team. He plans and accompanies individual tours, provides invaluable travel tips, and through his passion for photography, he gifts his guests with unforgettable memories of their time in Namibia.
